Here is some useful information on our services and what to expect when ordering from Fern Cakery.
Ordering process
- Make an inquiry using the contact form and provide us with as much detail as possible.
- If you would like to go ahead, we ask for a €150 deposit to secure the date.
- Watch out for the next cake taster date to sample our flavours and select flavours for your wedding cake. The cost of a taster box is €60. This cost is offset against the final payment for cakes.
- Once you pick your flavour and have your full wedding concept worked out - we chat cake design.
- I gather all your design preferences and produce a confirmation with full details to include the final price, design references, allergy advice etc.
Price Guide
Every cake is unique and therefore priced individually. The final price is confirmed once the design is fully agreed on to include the cake finish/texture, floral design etc.
Below prices are a starting point for each cake and include ganache finish on the outside as standard. Any additional touches such as coloured ganache, wafer paper design, textured fondant are additional and are priced separately. Simple textured fondant starts at €50 and more intricate designs start at €200.
Delivery cost is additional and cake stand hire is available upon request.
Wedding cake slices are three layers deep and 1 x 1 x 4inch in size.
